The 2-day Murchison Falls safari gives you a great chance to enjoy wildlife viewing in Murchison Falls National Park, the largest park in Uganda. On this short tour, you will take part in a guided game drive and a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile River.
A game drive in the park allows you to see many Savannah animals. Some of the wildlife you may spot include warthogs, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, oribis, Uganda kobs, and different bird species.
The main game drive tracks in the park include Pakuba, Victoria, Tebito, Chobe, Buligi, and the Delta game-viewing circuit. Each track offers its own sights and experiences.
Boat cruises are done on the Victoria Nile, either to the base of Murchison Falls or along the delta. These rides give you a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and many birds that live near the water. Your safari begins and ends in Kampala.

You will drive along the Kampala–Gulu highway for about 6 to 7 hours. You will enter the park through the southern gate, Kichumbanyobo. As you continue through the park, you may see olive baboons and other wildlife along the road.
On arrival, check in at your lodge and prepare for an afternoon boat cruise starting from the Paraa Jetty. This 2 to 3-hour boat ride takes you along the Victoria Nile. You will see Nile crocodiles sunbathing, hippos in the water, and various water birds like kingfishers, fish eagles, and bee-eaters.
When you reach the bottom of the falls, you can take pictures and enjoy the views. After the cruise, return to the jetty and meet your guide, who will drive you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
