Victoria Game Track: Murchison Falls’ Northern Loop

Victoria Game Track - Prime Safari Route in Murchison Falls

The Victoria Game Track is located in the northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. It runs between Queen’s Track and Buligi Game Track, leading to and from the delta area.

Route and Length

The Victoria Game Track is about 17 kilometers long, and along this route, tourists can spot many kinds of wildlife. It is ideal for a round trip since it forms a loop within the park and connects with other game tracks.

Wildlife on the Victoria Game Track

Tourists may see Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and several bird species such as the African quailfinch, Abyssinian ground hornbill, squacco heron, African darter, and giant kingfisher, among others.

Starting the Journey

The journey along the Victoria Game Track often begins with excitement. Visitors can enter the park through Tangi Gate or Chobe Gate and travel through open grasslands and wooded areas where they may encounter many animals.

Views of the Nile River

Other Activities on the Track

Best Time to Visit

The track is open all year, but the best time to visit is during the dry months from June to August and December to February. During this time, animals are easier to see.
