Amuka Safari Lodge is located in Nakasongola District near Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, making it a great place for tourists to enjoy both the sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park.
The rooms at the lodge are built using African materials, reflecting traditional African design and a strong focus on conservation.
The lodge has 16 units to host all types of travelers: whether solo visitors, couples, families, or groups. The rooms are divided into two types: standard chalets and family chalets.
There are 6 standard chalets, each with one cozy bedroom and a comfortable living area, ideal for singles or couples.
The 10 family chalets have three bedrooms and plenty of space to ensure comfort. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, flush toilets, hot and cold showers, solar power, Wi-Fi, mosquito nets, and other basic features.
At the center of the lodge is a spacious restaurant, where both local and international meals are served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant walls are decorated with local art, adding a special touch to the dining experience.
The lodge also has a well-stocked bar with a variety of drinks where guests can relax after a day of adventure.
One of the key features of the lodge is the swimming pool, which gives visitors a cool place to refresh during the hot days.
Besides the comfort at the lodge, there are many activities guests can enjoy at both Murchison Falls and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. At the sanctuary, tourists can go rhino trekking and learn about their behavior and how they survive in their habitat. Afterward, guests can head to Murchison Falls National Park for game drives to see animals such as lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs.
Visitors can also take part in boat cruises to the bottom of the falls and to the delta. These cruises give a chance to see wildlife on the Nile, like hippos and crocodiles. It’s also a great time for photographers to take pictures of the scenery and animals.
