Located on the banks of the Nile River and just a few minutes from Tangi Gate, Hornbill Bush Lodge is a quiet place made for tourists who want to enjoy the natural beauty of the African wilderness.
Hornbill Bush Lodge was started in 2017 to provide comfort for modern travelers. It is part of the Woodland Lodges group.
The lodge is budget-friendly but still gives guests a deep connection with nature.

It was built using local African materials and reflects traditional African architecture. This design was chosen so the cottages and shared spaces could blend well with the natural surroundings.
Hornbill Bush Lodge has six self-contained rooms, designed to meet different needs without being too expensive.
The rooms come in different types, including single, double, and triple rooms, making them perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, or small groups.
Each room has modern features such as king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms, flush toilets, private verandas, mosquito nets, and cooling fans.
The lodge also has a large restaurant that offers a mix of Ugandan and international dishes. The restaurant reflects the lodge’s focus on quality and affordable service.
At Hornbill Bush Lodge, every moment is a chance to connect with nature. In the early morning, after breakfast, guests begin their adventure in the park.
The first activity is usually a game drive, where tourists may see wildlife like lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and more.
Later, guests go for a boat safari along the Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Here, they can feel the power of the falls and see animals such as hippos and crocodiles.
Evenings at the lodge are a time to relax, connect with friends, and talk about the day’s experiences.
Staying at Hornbill Bush Lodge is more than just a place to rest. It’s a full part of the safari journey.
