As the golden light of dawn spreads across the wilderness, a new adventure begins in Murchison Falls National Park, one of Africa’s most well-known parks. Tourists enjoy the open views of the Savannah grasslands, which are home to many wildlife species.
A strong safari vehicle is used to give clear views of the animals, and tourists are guided by an armed and experienced ranger who knows the best places to see lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and more.

Day game drives usually happen in two sessions, each lasting about 2 to 4 hours.
The first session starts around 6:30 am, while the second takes place from about 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Tourists can take photos and enjoy every moment, making memories of a trip they’ll never forget.
As the day becomes hotter, a break is taken often in the shade of a tree, where tourists enjoy a packed lunch and refreshing drinks. During this time, the guide may also share interesting stories about the park.
In the afternoon, the second drive offers a chance to see animals that may not have appeared earlier in the day. As the sunsets, the day game drive comes to an end.
When the stars begin to shine, the night game drive begins. The sounds of the night fill the air, and tourists are guided to good spots to view nighttime animals.
Animals like bush babies, civets, and genets may be seen, their eyes glowing like lights in the darkness.
The night game drive offers a unique experience and allows visitors to see a different side of the park, filled with hidden wonders that only come out after dark.
Night game drives usually start at 6:30 or 7:00 pm and last around 3 hours.
As the night deepens, the drive comes to an end, and tourists return to their lodges tired but filled with excitement from a day full of adventure.
Night game drives cost USD 30 for foreign non-residents, USD 20 for foreign residents and UGX 30,000 for East African citizens.
