You will visit Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Besides wildlife, you will also meet local people and learn about their cultures and way of life.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, Rhino tracking, and afternoon boat cruise
On the first day, your driver will pick you up from your hotel or residence in Kampala or Entebbe. After a short briefing, you will begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, about 234 km away.
Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch for guided rhino tracking. You may also see bushbucks and warthogs. Afterward, continue to Masindi for lunch, then enter Murchison Falls National Park.
In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to see the falls. On the cruise, look out for hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, baboons, and birds such as the African fish eagle, pied kingfisher, and egrets. After the cruise, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Early morning game drive and transfer to Kibale National Park
Wake up early for breakfast and check out of your lodge. Go for a morning game drive in the northern sector of the park. Animals you may see include lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, and oribis.
After the game drive, begin your journey to Kibale National Park, about 252 km to the southwest. Enjoy lunch along the way. On arrival, check in to your lodge and relax. Have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trek and Bigodi community tour
After breakfast, your driver will take you to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre by 7:00 AM for a briefing. A park official will explain the rules of chimpanzee trekking and assign you to a guide and ranger.
You will then enter the forest to track a habituated group of chimpanzees. Once found, you will spend one hour observing and taking photos. The full trek usually takes 3 to 4 hours. After the trek, return to the visitor centre and then to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi community. Activities include craft making, nature walks in the wetland, dancing with locals, and learning about the local lifestyle. You may also explore banana plantations and taste fresh bananas from the garden. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, crater visit, and boat cruise
After breakfast, check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, about 78 km south of Kibale. On arrival, you may spot animals such as Uganda kobs, lions, and buffaloes.
Visit the Kikorongo Equator crossing and the explosion craters. Take photos and enjoy birdwatching near the salty crater lakes. If lucky, you may see flamingos or pelicans. Learn about how locals benefit from the Katwe salt lake.
After lunch at the lodge, go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This is a calm ride where you can see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and many birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have breakfast and check out. Take part in a morning game drive to look for animals you may have missed earlier, such as lions, hyenas, and leopards.
Then, drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, about 150 km away. Stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge, have dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 6: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural visit
After an early breakfast, go to the park offices by 7:00 AM for a briefing. A ranger will explain the gorilla trekking rules and assign you a gorilla family to visit.
In a group of up to 8 people, enter the forest with guides and armed rangers. You may see monkeys, birds, and other wildlife as you walk. Once the gorillas are found, you’ll spend one hour watching and taking photos. After the trek, receive a certificate for completing the experience. The whole trek may take 3 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location and your walking speed.
Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community to see their traditional music, stories, dances, and how they lived in the forest. They may also show you hunting tools and how they gathered food.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Return to Kampala or drop-off at Entebbe International Airport
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, about 509 km away. Stop in Mbarara City for lunch at Igongo Country Hotel and Cultural Centre.
Make another stop at the equator in Kayabwe to take photos and buy crafts. You will arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the evening. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel or the airport for your flight.
